As part of the annual day celebrations the students staged a visual treat under the direction of Sri.Murthy Deraje.Here is a report that appeared in Vijaya Karnataka,a leading daily of Karnataka.

The annual day celebration was held at the school premises on 3 and 10 of December.It was to be on 3 and 4 of December but it rained heavily on 4 evening and the program had to be postponed to 10.On the 3 of December the children performed in a drama directed by well known artist Mr.Moorthy Deraje.

As part of the annual day celebration a fancy costume festival was held at the school on the first of December.The way children dressed in different costumes was amazing.

Our school is celebrating it's annual day as shown in this invitation card.

As you are aware we have been getting each and everyone of the kids on stage at least once it has become difficult to do it in a single day and that is why this year it is going to be a two day affair with the active participation of not only our teachers but a renowned art enthusiast Mr.Murthy Deraje   who will be guiding us with his expertise.

In the recently conducted throw ball tourney 38 teams participated.Amongst boys the team from Mani Balavikasa English medium school won the tourney while amongst girls the team from Maninaalkur Govt.highschool bagged the trophy.

Technology At Work

We believe in incorporating modern technology wherever we can afford to do so.This was one such occasion while during the school elections we used electronic voting.May be one of the first schools,if not the first,to do so.

Our school is hosting Bantwal taluk inter school  throw ball tournament on 31 Aug.
The tournament will be inaugurated at 10.00A.M.
Its open for the teams from high schools of Bantwal taluk.
Parents and well wishers are invited,says the release from the office of the Principal.

 Mr.Jayaram Rai,a genial man is the Principal of the school.He is amiable,friendly and amenable to reason,
Parents are requested to contact him pertaining to the academic related problem of their wards with preferably prior appointment as he is quite busy managing a school with 763 students and more than two dozen staff.
Clarify your doubts as and when they do arise though the incidents are rare.

Independence day

Independence day was celebrated in our school.As the tradition of our school has it the program was managed by the students themselves.Of course the teachers were the guides,obviously.

As we feared rain will play spoilsport the celebration was arranged indoors,so it looks a bit congested but we do have a spacious ground which could not be utilized today.Can not go against nature,can we?

SSLC March 2009

We have done it once again, sixth time in a row.  Our students have achieved 100 % pass in SSLC examination held in March 2009.

Our top scorers are Miss Manasalaxmi with total of 604    and       Mr Krishnaraj with total of 598.

12 passed with distinction,17 with first class and one in second class.

We congratulate the students and wish them the very best in their academic pursuit.
